About Us

We both have completed the Secondary Hotel School and have worked for years in the service industry, each in a different direction. We are very do-it-yourselfers and we have done most of the work in the B&B ourselves. Every detail has been thought out to ensure the comfort and relaxation of our guests.
What we have to offer you during your stay :

A relaxing stay in a wonderful region of green hills, beautiful lakes and rugged forests, which are home to deer, badgers, foxes and wild boars, among other animals.

A large garden in which you will find a few fruit trees, a chicken run and a small pond, into which a natural spring flows, “font Rabillou”. The two large linden trees near the terrace offer a shady spot on any time of the day. This rural setting invites you to rest and relax.

We do everything we can to ensure that you can relax. Also, to guarantee relaxation and tranquillity for all, our B&B is reserved for adults.

Good food is our passion! We like to eat well and make all our food ourselves as much as possible. This way we know exactly what’s on our plate. We harvest our own vegetables or buy them at local markets, preferably in our own village. In addition, we strive to reduce our meat consumption and
offer tasty vegetarian meals several days a week.
We ensure that the meat we buy comes from an animal that has been raised correctly and whose welfare has been respected. No battery hens for us, but good organic chickens. We also adhere to the “head to tail” philosophy: out of respect for the animal, the parts that we do not consume are
distributed to friendly villagers, to avoid waste.

In addition to breakfast, we also offer the possibility of having dinner together (optional). A four-course menu that changes daily and is made up mainly of regional and local products.

We can also prepare your lunch if you wish to picnic during one of your outings.

History of the house
The house was built in phases in the 1950s by a mason (M. Lavergne) and his two brothers. The idea was to make it a family home. Each brother would occupy a floor with his wife. The ground floor and the first floor had the same layout: a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, a separate toilet and a hall to connect these spaces.

The third brother never took up residence in the house and the second (top) floor therefore always remained in the planning stage. Electricity, water or drainage pipes were not present.

The former residents, who were already growing vegetables in different parts of the garden, gave us advice on the best places to grow crops. They also had chickens and rabbits in the chicken coop at the back of the garden.

We bought this house in 2014 with the idea of turning it into a B&B. Over the next eight years, we took our time to transform this residential home into a pleasant place for both us and our guests.
